Minimum experience 2 years
Establishing goals and objectives for each business unit, then measuring performance against those goals
Making sure that the business unit has adequate staff, equipment, facilities, and other resources to accomplish its goals
Developing and implementing new products or services that meet customer needs or changing existing offerings to meet changing market conditions
Conducting market research studies to identify potential new customers or new uses for existing products or services
Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects to ensure that they are on schedule and within budget
Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials at reasonable prices
Coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure that products or services meet customer needs
Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify areas where additional research or development is needed to maintain competitiveness
Communicating information about new products or services to customers through direct mailings, advertisements, and other marketing materials
